March Mission - Children's Ministries
The March monthly mission is Children’s Ministries. The goal and objective of Children’s Ministries is to support programs that provide direct services to reduce the child mortality rate and those living in poverty and dying of hunger, malnutrition, preventable diseases. The program is administered by UMCOR.

April Mission - Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County
The April monthly mission is Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County, the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity International. Local volunteers and trades people build low-cost, affordable homes for qualifying families. Habitat for Humanity makes the dream of owning a home a reality for families that otherwise might never have the opportunity. Two homes are scheduled with one starting in early spring and the other starting after July 2010. The house that starts after July will be a Women Build project. If interested, please complete the volunteer registration on the website (www.habitatgcc.org) and indicate that you are interested in “Women Build”. Habitat for Humanity also operates ReStore, a retail facility in Bellefonte selling new and used donated building materials to the public. Income generated from sales goes to the local affiliate in support of its building program. Individuals interested in volunteering their time can call 353-2390 to schedule.
