Grace United Methodist Church, Centre Hall, is home to Reverend Judith Packard Hulslander. She came to join us July 1, 2007. She looks forward to meeting you and beginning new friendships.

Pastor Judi, as she prefers to be called, is an ordained United Methodist Elder with several years pastoral experience. Most recently she served at First UMC in Berwick. She is familiar with Centre County, as her first appointment was to the Millheim Parish. She has also served at Linden which is near Williamsport, and at Greenwood in Altoona. Pastor Judi has just returned from traveling as part of a two-week mission trip in the Czech Republic sponsored by First UMC of Hershey.

Pastor Judi lived her first 50 years in Bradford and Tioga Counties, along Pennsylvania’s northern border. She feels blessed to have been raised on a dairy farm near Troy, and to have been part of Methodist churches her entire life.

Prior to answering God’s call to pastoral ministry, she taught high school English, then served as Director of Bradford-Tioga Head Start for 17 years. She has earned bachelor’s and master’s level degrees in English Education from Mansfield University. In 1997 she graduated with honors from Colgate-Rochest Divinity School with a Master of Divinity. She was ordained Elder in 2001.
