Matthew 28 Initiative Pre-Event Report Preparation
Grace Church Leadership Team will meet August 10th and finalize and refine the Self-Study Report that we must provide to the folks who will present the Matthew 28 Initiative in October. Any interested member is welcome to attend. We would appreciate any input you can offer to complete the Self-Study, which includes a lot of history about Grace Church. Below are resources available for review prior to the meeting:

URGENT: Church Checkers Needed: The Trustees check the church building and lock up every night. If you are willing to volunteer your time to do this for a month, please sign up in the hallway. Contact Richard Hosterman or the church office for more information. (You will be provided with a list of what needs to be checked.) Currently, we have NO volunteers which means that the same person does this several months in a row. You can see why it is very important to have new church checkers volunteer. Thank you!

Centre Hall Potter Twp Food & Fuel Bank in need of volunteers. Distribution day is the third Tuesday of each month (except August.) There is a need for volunteers from 8-10 a.m. Help is also needed on food delivery days, which vary, for 1-1 1/2 hours. If you are able to help, let us know and you will be notified of the day and time about a week before the delivery. To volunteer, contact Erskine Cash at 364-9184.

Leadership Team Mtg August 10, Sept. 14 @ 7 p.m.
In accordance with our Visioning Plan, the monthly meeting once known as Administrative Board has now become the Leadership Team Meeting. Every team in the church should be represented at these meetings in order to share progress on their team’s projects. This is also an opportunity for you to learn about all that is happening at Grace Church. Please plan to attend.

Nursery Volunteers Needed
We are fortunate to offer the nursery for all who attend the second service however we are currently understaffed. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to join the Nursery Volunteers in an effort to allow all to serve in the nursery on a rotation basis.

Attention all Event Planners: Contact the church office with all dates and times for events so that they can be added to our centralized church calendar. As we add more events, it's imperative to have a centralized calendar system in order to prevent conflicts. This includes events held at the church and off-site, and ANY changes to previously scheduled dates, times and locations. Please contact Tammie during office hours or by email. Thank you.

Grace UM Playschool is collecting box tops for the school district. There is a collection bag at the end of the hall by the classrooms.

If you would like to use the church facility for a meeting or event, contact the office at 364-1701. Scheduling is subject to availabilty. An agreement of use is required in order to prevent overbooking. Please call for more information.

We need YOU to see through our Visioning Plan! Copies of the Visioning Plan are available on the table in front of the sanctuary and you are encouraged to pick one up if you haven't already. Comments, questions and volunteers to fill the needs on the plan are welcomed. Contact Carolyn Foust, Bob Booz or Pastor Judi or any member of the Visioning Team.
